Arsenal vs Leyton Orient Preview - Let's Move On

I don't really care to adress the Birmingham match today, I think we should just focus on the task at hand, which is Leyton Orient.

First thing to adress is injuries. You're not going to be happy. Van Persie is out for about three weeks after receiving an injury while scoring his goal on Sunday. As a reult, this would mean he'd be sitting in the stands at the Camp Nou next Tuesday.
It's a really big blow, but I think we should be able to manage without him. Nik's played there last year, so he should know the atmosphere, and should score again like last year, correct?

So with Theo out as well, we'll have Arshavin, Nik and Nasri up top. Not that bad to be honest. Not our best obviously, but all three are capable of scoring. Plus with Cesc and Wilshere behind them, I think we can get a result. All we need is a draw.

Since we won't have RvP and Theo for Barca, obviously we won't have them for Wednesday. Along with them, Song and Koscielny joins the injury list. Luckily, they're both short term and should be back for Saturday against Sunderland.

Also, after the cup final on Sunday, Wenger said that Szczesny would start against Orient. He then changed his mind on Tuesday and said Almunia would start.

I think Wenger did this on purpose, because if he announced Almunia would start against Leyton Orient right after the Brum match, the press would've blown it up into this huge ordeal on how Szczesny had lost his place and that he's rubbish to let Almunia beat him in the pecking order and what not.
     Well played Arsene Wenger.

So with all those injuries and a very important match this Saturday as well, here's my predicted line-up:

     Arshavin     Chamakh     Bendtner

                        Rosicky

               Diaby         Denilson

Gibbs      Squllaci        Miquel      Eboue

                        Almunia

What's funny is that this side is even weaker than the won we put out against Orient in the first match, with Song injured and Sagna rested. Diaby should be back, and sadly Rosicky is back into the mix too...

Tomorow is a must win game, we can't lose to Orient with United on the horizon, if we beat the O's. Playing them in the FA Cup would be a good test before we play them in the league later.
What's very important is that every player gives a 110% and does NOT forget Sunday. They need to remember that with hard work and focus comes success, and hopefully they will translate what they have learned from the cup final loss into a win against Orient.

Despite Arsenal saying that 60,000 something tickets were sold for this match, I'd be surprised if there were that many. Many fans are probably disappointed with the squad and not in the mood to help their team on. However, as much as that loss Sunday hurt the lads and is now testing the lads, it also tests us as fans, to keep up the support and help our boys get through this tough time.

That's about all I have to say about the matter. Pretty straight forward really. My predicted score-line is 2-1 to the Arsenal with a Chamakh goal and a Bendtner goal.
     Let's move on now, lads.
     Have a good Wednesday.
